This is an image of cat food and a cup of water. This is what Sylvester, one of the many campus cats, is fed by students. Sylvester is always outside of Old Main and seeing him and many students giving him the love and attention he wants reminds me of how united students can be. He is very loved and well taken care of. Sylvester always welcomes cuddles, pets, and conversation. Even if he can’t say anything beyond a “meow,” we all know he means well. As a UTEP student, campus cats like Sylvester bring me a small mental break and provide great animal support.
