This is an interesting photograph. In this photograph, you can see my car's door ajar at a parking lot at UTEP. What's interesting about this is a silicone wristband with the words 'Free Palestine.' There is a reason why this wristband is in my car door and not on my wrist. I was wearing it while in Juárez; this day, when I crossed the border, I took it off and placed it as you can observe in the image. Once I got to UTEP, I put it on, took it off once more, and left it there. Hence, this image is telling me about how I feel sharing my beliefs in this country and on campus; it indicates fear and probably precaution, given that I'm an international student holding a student visa, fearful of facing the fate of many others who lost their visas. In sum, this image shows a type of student with a particular cause.
