I was given the opportunity to be a research assistant this semester. We did several research activities off campus, and our final step was to put together an art exhibition in the union gallery. Seeing months of hard work come together in one room and sharing it with the community was so rewarding. I am grateful for the opportunity. To me, being a UTEP student means getting to do things I never imagined myself doing.
