Runner Beside the Blue Water

A lively marker drawing shows a shirtless figure striding along the edge of a broad blue body of water while carrying or guiding a small wooden boat. Dark, emphatic outlines give the figure and vessel a comic-book clarity, while layered green fields and distant charcoal mountains create a simple outdoor setting. Handwritten names, symbols, and mathematical marks remain visible across the upper paper, lending the piece the direct, personal character of a sketchbook page.
