Circles in the Wood

A tightly framed study of cut logs arranged edge to edge, their dark, irregular silhouettes punctuated by pale circular centers. Radial grain, rough bark, and subtle variations in each cross-section keep the repeated pattern from becoming mechanical, while narrow white intervals create a crisp, almost mosaic-like ground. The close perspective turns an ordinary stack of firewood into a quiet abstract field of organic geometry.
