Flag Over the City

A black-and-white line drawing captures a group of people raising a large flag above a broad urban landscape. Bold, unshaded contours define the figures in the foreground, the flag’s wind-filled folds, rooftop structures, distant buildings, fences, pathways, and scattered crowds. The elevated viewpoint gives the scene a civic, panoramic character, while the unfinished coloring-book surface leaves space for the viewer’s imagination and emphasizes the graphic clarity of the composition.
