Ward of Many Hands

A stark black-line composition gathers a crowded medical team around a reclined patient, with overlapping figures, a striped blanket, bed rails, and long clinical instruments filling the frame. Faces are rendered as dense scribbled marks, while loose contours and shifting angles give the hospital scene an unsettled, almost dreamlike energy. The broad white ground heightens the contrast between the intricate cluster of bodies and the surrounding emptiness.
