Golden Folded Figure

A loosely rendered figure curls inward across the page, the limbs and torso interlocking in a compact, almost sculptural arrangement. Warm ochre and sienna passages are built up with broad, tactile marks, while violet contour lines trace the anatomy with searching immediacy. The partially defined face turns downward, giving the work an introspective, vulnerable presence, and the surrounding white paper allows the body to remain open and unfinished.
