Dragonfly Over Still Water

A richly layered pond scene unfolds in deep greens and blue-greens, with a pale dragonfly suspended above overlapping lily pads and concentric ripples. Dense vegetation presses across the upper field while curving stems, reflected light, and patterned water guide the eye in sweeping arcs. Scraped passages, stamped organic marks, translucent washes, and drawn details give the surface a tactile, exploratory character, balancing recognizable natural forms with an almost dreamlike abstraction.
