A frontal female portrait anchors a richly assembled mixed-media composition, her cool, luminous face framed by an ornate sculptural headdress and patterned red garment. Collaged fragments of maps, sheet music, architectural forms, flowers, foliage, and a piano-like structure surround her, creating a theatrical world of cultural memory and visual ornament. Carefully painted facial features contrast with tactile paper elements, incised motifs, and decorative patterning, while the direct gaze gives the piece a poised, enigmatic presence.
