Lilies Beneath Deep Water

A richly layered botanical composition fills the surface with overlapping lily pads and a broad pink water lily, its petals opening against a dark, rippling pond. Broad cut-paper-like shapes, etched markings, mottled textures, and looping water patterns create a tactile contemporary interpretation rather than a naturalistic view. The flower anchors the center while the pads drift diagonally across the frame, giving the piece a lively, immersive sense of water and growth.
