Ripples Beneath the Lilies

A richly layered pond scene unfolds in turquoise and deep aquatic blues, with lily pads and white water lilies drifting across a broad, horizontally composed surface. Concentric ripples gather toward the upper right and lower left, while patterned marks, translucent washes, and fragments of printed material give the water a tactile, almost map-like depth. Small dragonflies punctuate the open spaces, and the varied green, ochre, and rust tones of the pads keep the tranquil scene vivid and alive.
