A candid street photograph observes two dogs sleeping on a shaded concrete sidewalk outside a small neighborhood shop. A slender tree trunk divides the composition, while potted plants, a blue bucket, stacked goods, and a brightly colored ice cream advertisement fill the storefront behind them. The low viewpoint and gentle blur lend the ordinary scene a quiet, unhurried intimacy.
