A carefully preserved 1914 special edition of the Wiener Zeitung presents Austria-Hungary’s declaration of war against Serbia in dense Gothic and Roman type. The imperial coat of arms anchors the formal masthead, while the centered proclamation and bilingual German-French text give the page the gravity of an official historical record. Slightly aged paper, softened ink, and the visible curvature of the bound sheet underscore its archival character.
