Garden of the Seven Figures

A wide, mural-like painting presents a group of nude and partially draped women gathered around a richly planted interior pool or garden. Large tropical leaves anchor the foreground, while blue water, wooden paneling, windows, and distant figures create layered spatial rhythms across the panoramic composition. Hebrew inscriptions frame the work along the upper and lower borders, giving the scene a ceremonial, literary character. The painterly handling remains expressive, with visible brushwork and strongly outlined forms that recall early modernist and Symbolist decoration.
