The Woman and the Birds

A four-panel narrative painting follows a red-haired woman in a long floral dress as she moves from seated contemplation to an outstretched, almost airborne gesture, culminating in a dreamlike scene of floating feathers and streaming hair. Pink dividers separate each vignette like pages of a visual poem, while swirling backgrounds and decorative patterning give the work a distinctly symbolic, storybook character.
