A Wedding Beneath Strange Stars

Two formally dressed figures sit side by side on a dark sofa, their gas-mask faces lending an uncanny distance to an otherwise tender wedding scene. Behind them, a swirling, star-filled night echoes Van Gogh’s celebrated nocturne, while the bouquet, pale gown, and black suit create a theatrical contrast against the fiery horizon and heavily textured ground. The hand-rendered marks and deliberately awkward proportions give the piece a wry, dreamlike character.
