Meaningfully Messy

A monumental sculptural staircase rises in an irregular, almost precarious arc through the gallery, assembled from weathered timber planks, rough concrete blocks, metal supports, and construction tools. Its exposed joints, chipped surfaces, scattered rubble, and unfinished upper framework emphasize labor and instability, while carefully directed spotlights cast elongated shadows across the wall and polished floor. The work occupies the room like an architectural fragment suspended between demolition and ascent.
