Flowers Over the City

A lively hand-drawn cityscape stretches across the lower half of the piece, its dark buildings outlined with simple windows and arched doors beneath a lavender and pink horizon. Above, oversized radiant flowers—or perhaps bursts of color—fill the deep blue sky, their textured petals made from energetic strokes and surrounded by scattered dots like stars. The flattened perspective and exuberant colors give the work a playful contemporary folk-art character.
