Cornish Tea

A boldly outlined teapot dominates the composition, its curved spout and looping handle rendered in deep indigo against lavender and cobalt surfaces. The simplified form sits on a diagonally striped turquoise-and-chartreuse ground, while the warm split background gives the domestic object a striking poster-like presence. Hard-edged color fields and exaggerated shadows lend the work a playful, graphic energy.
