Madelaine Melgar

Madelaine Melgar explores the meeting point of architecture, sculpture, and tropical growth through richly composed photographs and sculptural works in carved stone, mixed media, and painted metal. Weathered arches, stairways, columns, and fantastical organic forms emerge from dense foliage, where filtered light, moss, and decay create dreamlike scenes. Her work transforms overgrown structures into mysterious, storybook sanctuaries suspended between ruin, nature, and imagination.
