1940 — AUSCHWITZ IS ESTABLISHED -Auschwitz is established as a concentration camp. -Animal Farm: The animals rebel against Mr. Jones and create a society based on equality. “All animals are equal.” 1941 — THE CAMP EXPANDS -Construction of Auschwitz II-Birkenau begins. -Animal Farm: The windmill becomes a major project requiring exhausting labor. “I will work harder!”
