A compact study of the Chinese character for fish, arranged in two rows across eight historical and calligraphic script styles. Each black form is paired with a small Vietnamese label, allowing the shifting character structure to be read from pictographic bone script through seal, clerical, and later cursive traditions. The stark white ground and measured spacing give the piece the clarity of a reference chart while preserving the expressive variation of ink-written marks.
