Letters Across a Red Field

A contemplative mixed-media collage builds a crimson field from woven texture, faint grid lines, stitched or printed marks, and several attached red envelopes. Pale birds cross the surface in flight, converging around a central dove-like form whose spread wings provide the work’s visual anchor, while a barely visible face and fragments of writing deepen its sense of memory and communication. The layered construction feels tactile and archival, balancing solemn symbolism with the fragile promise of a message carried outward.
