pupu

pupu creates oil paintings that stage intimate domestic dramas, scholarly encounters, and moments of quiet ritual in richly furnished interiors. With deep chiaroscuro, carefully rendered textiles, vessels, books, and expressive gestures, pupu gives each composition the gravity of a Baroque or Dutch Golden Age tableau. Across scenes of vigil, counsel, celebration, and crisis, theatrical arrangements and luminous details turn ordinary rooms into charged spaces of mystery and human connection.
