A dark, expressive drawing presents a raven in profile wearing a broad, crooked witch’s hat. Dense black hatching gives weight to the bird’s plumage and hat, while lighter open areas define the eye, beak, and layered feathers against the pale paper. The tightly cropped bust and sharply projecting brim create a dramatic, storybook character with an unmistakably gothic presence.
