Farewell Beyond the Window

A layered mixed-media collage stages a group of travelers before a broad city view, their simplified silhouettes and luggage arranged like cut-paper figures in transit. A textured, sculptural figure intrudes from the right, wrapped in richly patterned fabric, while bold text fragments—“Traveling is just like anything else” and “Saying farewell”—turn the scene toward reflection. The warm orange ground and flattened architectural forms give the work the character of a contemporary poster or theatrical tableau, balancing departure, movement, and urban distance.
