Figure Among Familiar Rooms

A warmly colored interior scene presents a wood-paneled room filled with framed portraits, a bed, a woven chair, a glass side table, and a glowing spherical lamp. In the foreground, a faceted, paper-like figure assembled from bright geometric blocks interrupts the domestic setting, its elongated limbs and oversized head creating a playful contrast with the room’s natural textures. The work balances documentary photography with a staged, collage-like intervention, giving the familiar space a quietly surreal character.
