Sunny Cao

Sunny Cao’s digital photography observes people, places, and shared rituals across Chinese urban, rural, and natural settings. Candid gatherings, communal meals, fireside evenings, and journeys through mountain landscapes are framed with an attentive eye for gesture, architecture, and light. Moving between intimate documentary moments and expansive views, Cao finds warmth, continuity, and quiet poetry in everyday experience. The images invite viewers into scenes shaped by connection, hospitality, and place.
