A stark monochrome bridal portrait presents a veiled figure poised beside a sweeping curtain, her luminous gown and long train emerging from a nearly black ground. The theatrical pose, soft drapery, and selectively dissolved edges give the photograph an antique, dreamlike presence, while the strong vertical framing lends the scene a quiet ceremonial gravity.
