Tea in Evening Light

A warmly observed still life centers on a pale blue teacup filled with amber tea, resting on a layered saucer against a shadowed, painterly background. Broad, tactile strokes describe the cup’s rim, handle, reflective glaze, and the dark maroon cloth beneath, while loose patches of light bring the tabletop forward. The cropped composition and visible canvas texture give the quiet domestic scene an intimate, immediate presence.
