A hand-drawn commemorative poster centers a smiling woman in a blue space suit, her uniform marked with the colors of the United Arab Emirates, while she cradles a large helmet across her body. Arabic lettering arches above and below the figure, surrounded by circular vignettes of spacecraft, scientific tools, and a golden medallion, with hearts and lively ribbon-like forms filling the border. Fine black outlines, colored-pencil shading, and youthful decorative lettering give the work an optimistic, celebratory character.
