Interlocking Color Fields

A large geometric abstraction built from intersecting bands, checkerboard passages, angular compartments, and looping lines. The painted surface retains the warm, raw tone of its board support, while blocks of cobalt blue, lime green, violet, orange, cream, and charcoal create a lively sense of visual movement. Some areas are carefully segmented and outlined, while others reveal loose, expressive brushwork and scraped texture, giving the composition an energetic, handmade character.
