A pale, nearly monochromatic painting presents a small group of indistinct standing figures emerging from a veil of scraped and vertically dragged marks. Their softened outlines dissolve into the surrounding field, while faint architectural or wooded suggestions recede behind them. The obscured faces and washed surfaces give the scene the suspended quality of a memory, balancing human presence with disappearance.
