Then Versus Now

A theatrical editorial collage presents a framed historical engraving against ornate burgundy wallpaper, accompanied by a large headline and flowing handwritten quotation about punishment for theft. The small print depicts figures gathered around a severe public penal apparatus, while the polished frame, wood floor, and gallery-like setting give the historical scene the feel of a curated exhibit. Strong typographic contrast and staged lighting create a pointed comparison between past and present.
