Spiral Into Silence

A stark circular composition pulls the eye inward through a tightening vortex of black and white bands, their edges irregular enough to suggest organic growth rather than mechanical pattern. The work reads like an optical tunnel or stylized whirlpool, with the central opening acting as both focal point and point of release. Its precision, symmetry, and high-contrast surface give the piece a crisp graphic authority, while the warped stripes create a subtle visual instability that keeps the surface in motion.
