Carol Gonzalez

Carol Gonzalez creates intensely atmospheric paintings where fire, shadow, and animal presence become charged visual symbols. In acrylic on canvas, turbulent brushwork, scraped passages, and looping marks shape landscapes and dark fantasy scenes centered on flames, fissures, and radiant thresholds; in pastel, a monumental crimson elephant emerges from darkness. Her layered surfaces and dramatic contrasts give each work a tactile, cinematic sense of mystery and quiet power.
