Carta Vetrata

Carta Vetrata creates oil paintings on canvas that place hooded, solitary figures and a finely observed ram within near-black settings. Concentrated chiaroscuro illuminates rough habits, clasped hands, vessels, wool, and curled horns, transforming simple gestures and objects into meditations on mortality, devotion, and guarded remembrance. With frontal compositions and compressed space, the works evoke Old Master studies while sustaining a quiet, enigmatic stillness.
