Dreamer Among Small Wonders

A spare black line drawing presents a reclining, long-haired figure in an oversized hat, accompanied by a sleeping catlike creature and a much smaller whimsical companion. The sweeping contours of the figure and trailing garment create a drifting diagonal across the otherwise open white field, while the delicate facial marks and tiny gestures lend the scene a quiet, storybook intimacy.
