Debra Rich is a Sarasota, Florida mixed-media artist specializing in handcrafted 3D mosaics, collage, and found-object assemblage. After more than four decades of dedicated service with the Social Security Administration, Debra did what so many of us only dream about—she retired and went all in on her passion for art. A New York native who has proudly called Sarasota her full-time home for more than six years, Debra began her artistic journey in earnest after retirement, immersing herself in classes in mosaics, assemblage, and collage. She quickly discovered her creative voice in work that combines color, texture, unexpected materials, and three-dimensional elements. Debra's original artwork transforms everyday and found objects into expressive, dimensional pieces filled with personality and visual surprise. Her work includes 3D mosaics, mixed-media collage, and whimsical found-object assemblages, and she also creates custom commissions. Her art has been exhibited throughout the Sarasota area, and she is proud to have placed numerous original works with collectors who connect with her unique vision.
