Bramble in Summer Light

A repeating tangle of blackberry canes fills the surface with crisp, graphic energy. Dense clusters of dark fruit hang among sharply outlined leaves rendered in bright spring greens, while the pale ground carries faint distressed marks that give the work the feel of a printed textile or vintage poster. The composition is all-over and decorative, yet the twisting stems create a lively rhythm that keeps the eye moving from one berry cluster to the next.
