Seated Figure in Green

A stylized nude sits in profile with one leg folded beneath the body and the other angled outward, the pose both relaxed and self-possessed. Broad, interlocking shapes in layered greens define the torso and limbs, while thin reserves of white carve out the contours and give the figure a luminous edge against the pale ground. The flattened treatment of anatomy and the pared-back composition lend the work a contemporary, graphic clarity, yet the subtle tonal shifts within each shape keep the body feeling soft and inhabited rather than schematic.
