I chose this artwork because it was the one that spoke to me, and most probably because it was the one that looked easy and pretty with the blended colours. The effects or techniques that I found most difficult to recreate were making the artwork realistic with pastels and blending with pastels, especially since my reference was done using watercolour. To be honest, I’m proud of my artwork as a whole, but if I have to choose, it would be the petals and the stalks. What I would improve is my shading and contrast on my petals or flower, and make other areas darker and redder.
