Figure in Yellow Repose

A small sculptural figure reclines in an enigmatic, folded pose, its pale rounded body articulated by looping limbs and an arched form. A vivid yellow ridged element crosses the lower foreground, creating a sharp accent against the cream-colored surface and muted gray setting. The softly modeled volume, tactile imperfections, and compact arrangement give the piece the character of a whimsical contemporary ceramic object.
