The Logic of Dry Wood

A stark, sunlit savanna is viewed through the circular housing of an optical lens, centering a leafless, sculptural tree amid stones and sparse scrub. Luminous blue circuitry traces the tree’s branches while translucent diagrams, equations, grids, and Portuguese technical labels hover across the scene, turning a natural form into a speculative interface. The work carries the visual language of a scientific instrument and a futuristic field study, with the dark lens rim framing the composition like a portal.
