Two lovers lean into a tender kiss within an almost icon-like field of gold. Their patterned garments form a richly ornamented enclosure of angular blocks, spirals, circles, and jewel-like motifs, while exposed faces, hands, shoulders, and feet bring intimate human warmth to the decorative surface. A dense flowering meadow anchors the composition, contrasting organic abundance with the shimmering, flattened geometry surrounding the figures.
