Black Friday Window

A large figurative painting turns a clothing shop into a fractured theatrical space of display and consumer spectacle. Fashionable female figures appear behind angular partitions and open changing-room panels, while bold sale signage and a red handbag punctuate the crowded arrangement. The checkerboard floor pushes sharply toward the viewer, giving the storefront an unsettled, stage-like perspective. Visible brushwork, flattened planes, and dramatic cropping lend the scene the charged atmosphere of a contemporary department-store tableau.
