Ruins Beneath the Earth

A multi-panel suite of dark architectural studies explores abandoned brick chambers, vaulted passages, stairways, and tunnel mouths. Dense incised marks articulate every course of masonry, while shifting viewpoints move from distant exterior ruins to tightly framed circular interiors that draw the eye inward. The varied horizontal and vertical panels create a measured, museum-like rhythm, with ember-colored scenes contrasting against cooler blue-green studies and lending the whole work an atmosphere of archaeological mystery.
