Just like in Act 1, Scene 2, In the episode "Romeo Must Wed" this scene is made as the main plot of a traditional forced marriage as the Wongs put Kwok into an contract arranged marriage though Penny and Kwok are actually fond of each other. Shakespeare shows forced marriage as a life or death struggle but in the episode it is shown as a teen romance that was ultimately resolved just like many cases in today's world.
