Acrobat Beneath the Red Curtain

A hand-drawn theatrical scene places a stylized female acrobat inside a large decorated aerial hoop, suspended before a richly red curtain. A giant hand and blade-like prop enter from the left, adding an uncanny stage illusion, while the performer’s patterned costume, flowing hair, and poised limbs are carefully defined with crosshatching and expressive contour lines. The direct, handmade rendering gives the piece the charm of a personal circus poster with a surreal edge.
